Specialty Building Products is seeking a Sales Manager to support the St. Louis (Edwardsville, IL), Kansas City, MO, and Pekin, IL regions.

You will guide the sales team in executing strategic plans, recruiting and training staff, and analyzing sales data to achieve revenue and margin targets. The role requires strong leadership, experience in building materials distribution, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, COGNOS and Agility.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of building materials distribution experience.
• Prior sales experience.
• Prior management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree; previous experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficiency in COGNOS and Agility software preferred.

Aufgaben

• Foster an environment that embodies SBP and Amerhart's culture and values.
• Lead the Pekin, Kansas City and STL sales team in meeting and exceeding revenue and margin targets.
• Create, communicate and execute effective sales strategies focused on growth and long-term partnership.
• Identify opportunities for new business.
• Engage customers within the STL and KC markets with focus on long-term growth.
• Build and grow vendor relationships.
• Develop team talents through identifying knowledge gaps and action plans.
• Ensure world-class customer service across markets.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager on pricing strategies and price book management.
• Continuously recruit top talent.
• Communicate company vision and directives to the team.
