Job description

Regional Sales Manager (Southeast USA) - is a remote sales position ideal for a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit. The candidate must reside within the region (Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia) and be accountable for maintaining and growing OEM and Distribution accounts within the designated sales region. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans in pursuit of profitable sales growth and market share. Experience with hydraulic filtration and fluid contamination monitor products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain close working relationships within the sales region and maintain excellent and up-to-date record systems.
  2. Provide market information including market pricing, competitive activities, and products; develop regional marketing strategies.
  3. Develop and recommend innovative ideas and tactics that will contribute to an increase in market share and sales growth.
  4. Confer regularly with management on recommended sales strategies, promotions, and potential new markets.
  5. Define problems, assess risks, and develop recommendations for successful action plans.
  6. Deliver effective, engaging product training through both written and oral presentations.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum two-year Technical Degree or equivalent fluid power/filtration experience; fluid power certification is a plus.
  2. 3-5 years of fluid power sales experience selling directly to mobile and industrial OEMs, Distributors, and National Accounts; hydraulic filtration experience is a plus.
  3. Knowledge of the sales region in both mobile and industrial markets.
  4. Entrepreneurial and competitive drive for success with a proven ability to exceed sales goals with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
  5. Multi-state time and territory management ability.
  6. Excellent organization and PC skills; effective at managing multiple tasks.
  7. Willingness to travel 50%+ overnight (average 2-3 nights/week away from home).
  8. Occasional International travel.
  9. US resident with a valid US Passport, driver license, and insured vehicle.
