Job Overview:

The Milton Roy Regional Manager possesses a high technical aptitude and is accomplished in influencing brand preference, along with the ability to articulate the value proposition as part of the solution selling process. This person is well versed in influencing specifying and purchasing decisions, relative to the advantages of Milton Roy Positive Displacement pump & mixer technologies and related brands for flow control and chemical injection applications. Territory responsibility covers Northeast US States across multiple end markets, including chemical processing, oil & gas, general industrial, and water/wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Tactically execute strategic plans to grow annual sales to meet company goals while proactively promoting all sales activities within the region.
  • Collaborate with Ingersoll Rand sister companies where market synergies exist.
  • Be knowledgeable about target markets, products, and industries to bring added value from your energy and ambition to succeed.
  • Make recommendations regarding channel partner changes and market segmentation to meet financial objectives.
  • Manage existing sales channels, establish sales targets, review performance, develop strategies, and supervise corrective actions.
  • Provide technical product training and sales tools training for channel partners and support their sales efforts.
  • Provide data book/policy training as required with all channel partners.
  • Collect and report key marketplace information, maintain a 'Report Card' via Distributor Dashboard, including forecasts and strategic initiatives execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • High mechanical aptitude with substantial experience and formal postgraduate training related to the technology and target customer industries will be considered.
  • 5+ years selling pumps and related process equipment.
Core Competencies:
  • Experience in selling through independent channels and managing EPCs, OEMs, and Key Accounts.
  • Knowledge of chemical processes, chemical injection, and treatment using metering Positive Displacement pumps/systems; knowledge of industrial mixing and Peristaltic technologies is advantageous.
  • Relationship-building skills based on credibility, integrity, and knowledge.
  • Proven track record with sales to end-users through manufacturers’ reps and distributors.
  • Knowledge of working with specifying engineers.
  • Established relationships within the region.
  • Self-starter with confidence, teamwork skills, and strategic working habits.
  • Results-oriented with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, ERP systems.
Preferences:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
Travel & Work Arrangements:
  • Approximately 65% travel expected.
