Pay Range
$135,600 - $186,500 annually, with potential for an incentive bonus. Salary varies based on experience, skills, and education.

Role Overview
The Regional Sales Manager for the East Region is responsible for leading sales activities across Maine to Florida, managing a team, and developing strategies to meet sales and earnings objectives. The role is primarily remote, based on the East Coast near a major airport, with travel required within the region. A company car and gas card are provided.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the Performance Materials division in the East
  • Monitor market needs, competition, channels, and promotional activities
  • Prepare reports for management to influence commercial strategies
  • Build strong customer relationships with distributors, contractors, and owners
  • Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing teams
  • Manage sales staff, including setting quotas, evaluating performance, and training
  • Oversee sales planning, forecasting, and product launch efforts
  • Evaluate sales processes for efficiency improvements, utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma
  • Ensure legal compliance in product sales
  • Manage regional budgets
  • Lead efforts for new product commercialization in the territory
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of manufacturing sales experience and 2 years of management experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience with building product sales channels
  • Proven sales success, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the value chain
  • Customer-focused, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to analyze markets, product lines, and marketing strategies
  • Must be able to travel extensively (50%), including overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive long distances
