Job summary

Prodrive Technologies in Boston seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive US sales for our Precision Solutions line, focusing on motion control, drives, linear motors and mechatronics systems. You will pursue new business by qualifying leads and guiding customers through the sales cycle.

Engage with engineering and commercial teams to tailor proposals, perform competitive analysis, and build a robust customer network.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in high-tech or industrial markets (semicon, healthcare, energy transition, industrials).
  • Technical bachelor or master’s degree.
  • Experience in commercial roles, including RFQs, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • International experience, with willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the right stakeholders at customers, quantify the value of our USPs, and influence technical competence development.
  • Perform competitor analysis by tracking competitors, mapping their positioning, and identifying USPs that differentiate our offering.
  • Win business, acting as the primary point of contact until project handover.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align customer solution offerings and ensure successful project proposals.
  • Build and maintain a network at potential customers, proactively discussing upcoming opportunities and organizing updates/workshops.
  • Regularly report on market position and discuss potential improvements with Sales and Development teams.

Job Overview

As Regional Sales Manager you will be driving new business for our Precision Solutions business line by finding qualified leads and prospecting new customers. You will focus on the US sales of our products and solutions in this program. Your passion for motion control, drives, linear motors and mechatronics systems will fuel your pursuit in acquiring new business and connecting with your colleagues in our Precision Solutions business line.

Some examples of our applications are building and moving stages in semiconductor field and display equipment, ropeless elevators moved by our linear motors and controller, motor drives for patient beds and high-speed actuators and drives for compressors.

On top of these success stories, we have built up a portfolio of off-the-shelf product lines including servo drives, motion controller, linear motors, and more!

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in high-tech or industrial markets (semicon, healthcare, energy transition, industrials).
  • Technical bachelor or master’s degree
  • Experience in commercial roles, including RFQs, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate customer requirements into viable proposals with technical teams.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and consultative selling is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • International experience, with willingness to travel regularly.
  • Proactive, self-starter, and team player who values collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to engage both engineering and executive stakeholders
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
