• Demonstrated formal or informal leadership experience in a team-based sales environment.
• Experience selling through and aligning with distribution
• Proven success selling into A&D and commercial real estate in a specification driven sales role or as a team leader
• Ability to build and execute end-user focused new business development strategies in a market
• Located or willing to relocate in the Washington DC area
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant sales or leadership experience
• Prior management experience or strong evidence of team leadership
• Knowledge of contract furniture industry
• Knowledge of local market/region

Responsabilidades

• Delivering regional revenue results through direct leadership of six sales professionals across Washington DC.
• Lead and motivate the team through shared vision, high empathy, and mutual accountability.
• Coordinating and deploying additional Steelcase sales resources within the region.
• Fostering leadership alignment and creating an environment for strong selling synergy with our two dealer partners.
• Develop relationships, brand awareness, and product preference within the Architecture + Design and Commercial Real Estate communities in Washington DC.
• Creating and executing market strategies with an emphasis on new business development in competitive accounts and new vertical markets.
• Activating and enhancing the experience and offerings at our Washington DC Worklife Center
