Regional Sales Manager – B2B Human Nutrition & Dietary Ingredients (West Coast Territory)

We are seeking a highly motivated, ethical, and experienced Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast Territory to join our team! In this role, you will drive business growth by prospecting and securing new accounts for AlaskOmega Ingredients in the B2B human nutrition and dietary supplement sectors. You’ll also manage and strengthen relationships with existing accounts through regular customer visits and follow-ups.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Prospect and win sales at new accounts within the B2B nutrition and ingredient markets.
  2. Ongoing development of sales territory through active account management in line with the agreed annual sales budget and forecasting to ensure the budget is achieved.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through in-person visits, follow-ups, and industry events.
  4. Negotiate product sales volumes and pricing with clients.
  5. Develop and implement tactical sales strategies to meet both short- and long-term company goals.
  6. Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommend improvements.
  7. Work with Sales Support and Quality department to help communicate key customer requirements for fulfillment of orders.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. At least 5 years of experience selling ingredients into the B2B dietary supplement or nutritional products market.
  2. Established network in the B2B Nutritional Ingredients value chain, including major brands and contract manufacturers.
  3. Proven track record of selling to various company levels, including R&D, Marketing, and Senior Management.
  4. Strong technical sales ability and familiarity with product specifications, health applications, and manufacturing processes.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  7. Experience working with a CRM system is preferred.
