Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for:
- Qualifying calibration leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
- Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails.
- Presenting Ellab calibration services to potential clients.
- Identifying client calibration needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Building long-term trusting relationships with clients.
- Proactively seeking new calibration business opportunities in the market.
- Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients.
- Staying up-to-date with new calibration services and new pricing/payment plans.
- Developing and referring CQV, Capital Projects, Validation Equipment and Monitoring leads and opportunities to other regional sales team members
- Supporting Regional Sales Director, VP of Sales and BD, and the President in local, regional and National campaigns as directed.
- Attending local and regional networking and trade organization events approved by management. ie: ISPE, PDA, LifeScience, BuildsBIO, Biotech, etc.
Requirements
- Previous experience in calibration sales; experience in an ISO and/or FDA regulated industry required
- Previous hands-on calibration experience preferred
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with word processing and CRM/ERP/ CCMS/ CMMS applications
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- No Felony convictions
- No drug related offenses,
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- No restrictive covenants
