Job description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts for our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the Tennessee-Mississippi-Louisiana-Arkansas territory. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position involves sales of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the Eastern USCA Sales Director.

Must reside within the territory (Tennessee-Mississippi-Louisiana-Arkansas).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Promote and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide excellent support and service to customers regarding product recommendation, application, and performance.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge to stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop business strategies and identify sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
  1. 4-year college degree or at least 3 years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry or significant experience as a business owner in the construction contracting field.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-centric approach with the ability to work collaboratively, sell effectively, and develop solutions.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  5. Ability to understand technical data sheets, MSDS sheets, scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to meet and exceed goals.
