GRTS is seeking a North East Sales Manager to drive aftermarket sales and new equipment opportunities across a North East US territory in a remote, field-based role. The Opportunity
We are representing an established global engineering business that designs and manufactures high-performance mechanical drive solutions used in some of the most demanding industrial applications worldwide.
Its equipment supports critical production assets across the mining and cement industries, where reliability, uptime and lifecycle performance are essential. Following a strong growth and significant investment in the business, the company is entering a new phase of expansion across North America.
To support this expansion, we are looking to appoint a North East Sales Manager to grow the aftermarket and new equipment business across the North East United States.
This is a customer-facing, new-business-focused role for someone who enjoys opening doors, taking market share and developing opportunities within technically complex industrial environments.
The Role
The North East Sales Manager will take ownership of aftermarket sales across an established territory, with responsibility for developing new customers while expanding relationships across the existing installed base.
The focus will be on spare parts, service, repair, upgrades, replacements and other lifecycle solutions supporting large mechanical drive systems used within mining and cement operations.
You will spend significant time with customers at plants, mines and regional offices, building relationships with maintenance, reliability, engineering, procurement and operational stakeholders.
The role will require a proactive approach to identifying opportunities rather than waiting for enquiries. You will be expected to map the market, understand competitor installations and build a sustainable pipeline of aftermarket projects.
Key Responsibilities
The original role specification places particular emphasis on installed-base mapping, developing a sustainable opportunity pipeline, winning new customers and maintaining regular plant-level engagement.
About You
We are looking for a commercially driven industrial salesperson with a proven record of developing new business.
You are likely to have experience selling products or services such as:
Experience selling into mining or cement would be highly advantageous. Candidates from adjacent power transmission markets will also be considered where they can demonstrate strong new-business development capability and experience selling technically complex solutions into industrial end users. Candidates from industrial distribution are also encouraged to apply.
