Job description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts for our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia sales territory. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position involves the sales of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the USCA Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Promote and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide outstanding support and service to customers regarding product recommendation, application, and performance.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge to stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitors, and use this data to develop business strategies and identify sales opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Four-year college degree or three years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry and/or significant ownership/employer experience in construction contracting, preferably in the industry.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-centric approach with the ability to work collaboratively, sell effectively, and develop solutions.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  5. Technical ability to understand product data sheets, MSDS sheets, scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to meet and exceed goals.
