Job description

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will foster relationships with our current customers and drive sales to new accounts for our Traffic Solutions business. You will develop a strategic sales plan to grow the Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia sales territory. This is a remote role with travel within the territory.

This position involves the sale of Traffic Solutions liquid marking and surface reflective products. Your customer base will include contractors, cities, counties, state DOTs, and private organizations. You will report to the USCA Sales Director.

Must reside within the territory: Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive territory success by establishing new customers and identifying sales opportunities.
  2. Promote and position Traffic Solutions products effectively within the market to achieve sales goals.
  3. Provide excellent support and service to customers regarding product recommendations, applications, and performance.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge to monitor the market, customers, and competitors to inform your business plan and sales strategies.
Qualifications:
  1. 4-year college degree or 3 years of relevant experience in the pavement markings industry and/or significant ownership/employer experience in construction contracting.
  2. Experience in the coatings industry, such as pavement markings, is highly preferred.
  3. Professional, customer-focused approach with collaborative selling skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  5. Ability to understand technical product data, MSDS sheets, scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  6. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to meet and exceed goals.
