Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking a high-energy District Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Consultants and Merchandisers across the designated region. You will drive sales execution, manage supplier relationships, and ensure operational excellence with a strong focus on coaching in-market teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in sales, 3+ years in spirits or wine, and 2+ years in a managerial role. Travel is required to cover the region, with a mix of field and occasional office days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• 3+ years in the spirits or wine industry.
• 2+ years of managerial experience with a sales team.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Proven track record of success.
• Must have a steadfast work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and resilient.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Sales Consultants and Merchandisers.
• Drive sales execution and supplier relationships within the region.
• Manage route plans, market visits, and in-market coaching.
• Set monthly sales goals and monitor progress with Retail Specialists.
• Ensure accurate pricing, margins, and assortment on accounts.
• Recruiting for new talent and conducting interviews.
• Liaise between Chain Account Managers and Retail Specialist team.
