Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Public Sector in Santa Clara/Fresno counties. The role leads a sales team, develops strategic plans, and collaborates with vendors and internal partners to grow the customer base and profitability.

The candidate will manage field activities, align sales processes with business goals, and travel up to 25% as required to support customers and channel partners.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline may be required.
• 7+ years of experience in sales or sales leadership preferred.
• Strong understanding of customer needs, product applications, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day activities of individual sales representatives; may group by channel, market, or product unit.
• Defines the sales process and develops efficient sales strategies to drive outcomes and identify improvements.
• Analyzes and develops reports to identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth within territories.
• Spends time in the field interacting with customers and internal partners to resolve escalated issues.
• Develops sales processes to increase market share and profitability within the assigned territory.
• Manages and develops direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales.
• Reviews performance, coaches team members for career development and growth.
