Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Northeast for our Pool group. You will lead and coach a high-performance sales team, drive strategic initiatives, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers in the Northeast region.

Travel is expected up to 50% with preferred proximity to major airport hubs to enable efficient travel. The role demands market insight, data-driven decision making, and a commitment to growth and excellence within a global water

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven people leader experience.
• Experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and sales coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Travel up to 50% or more as required by regional duties.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Implement sales strategies to achieve territory targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Represent the company within the assigned geography, creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
• Acquire and leverage market knowledge to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent growth and achievement of targets, utilizing effective pipeline management techniques.
• Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
• Lead training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team and foster a growth mindset.
