Job summary

Pursuit is seeking an experienced sales professional to own a defined territory within a 200-mile radius of Chicago, selling food safety, laboratory testing, and quality services to major food-industry organizations. You will drive new business and manage key accounts.

You will build relationships with QA, Food Safety, R&D, and C-Suite decision-makers, oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding, and travel within the territory to industry conferences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant food industry sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field OR equivalent industry experience.
• Strong consultative selling and new business development skills.
• Understanding of food safety/testing needs.
• CRM experience and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell food safety, laboratory testing, and quality services.
