Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Region Sales Manager for the Sheet Plant Region to shape the commercial strategy and grow key accounts across multiple sites. You will lead a commercial team, drive pricing strategies, and coordinate across RGM, CGMs and FSMs to deliver value-added solutions.

Travel will be extensive (70-80%), and you will coach sales reps, recruit talent, and build partnerships with strategic customers while aligning resources with regional opportunities and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance or related field.
• 10-15 years of corrugated sales experience with high-end/ value-added products.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making.
• Proven ability to grow business and margins with pricing and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy sales resources to support tactical, strategic and national accounts.
• Develop sales reps through coaching and value propositions for strategic accounts.
• Recruitment and onboarding of new commercial team members.
• Direct regional sales strategy and pricing for national/ strategic accounts.
• Lead value-added and graphic corrugated product sales efforts.
• Build relationships with key customers and prospects, use One to Perfect for top accounts.
• Ensure tools/process adoption across sales team; train and mentor.
• Support contract negotiations with regional resources as needed.
• Drive mix enhancement across the customer base.
• Coordinate regional strategies and capital project justifications.
• Travel 70-80% within the region for visits and training.
