Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO in Houston, TX seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead the regional support team and inspire a high-performing sales force. You will drive regional sales performance, develop Field Sales Specialists, and ensure a world-class organization in sales, product knowledge, and P&L management.

You will partner with other business areas to leverage opportunities, coach staff to meet personal and company goals, and travel up to 50% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four year college or equivalent experience required
• 5 to 10 years relevant sales experience
• Skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships, coalitions, and networks
• Travel up to 50% and ability to travel by air as needed

Responsibilities

• Achieve regional targets for sales, margin and KPIs.
• Lead direct reports with a leadership style that enables success.
• Measure sales progress and support regional strategies, budgets, quotas and objectives.
• Maintain thorough product knowledge for all team products.
• Monitor product and application know-how and drive improvements.
• Promote generation of leads across MT product line.
• Collaborate with other business areas to leverage regional opportunities.
• All other duties as assigned.
