Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment, a Division of Franklin Electric, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive commercial and industrial water treatment sales across the US remote territory.

You will develop forecasts, manage budgets, and coordinate regional tradeshows while maintaining key accounts and delivering top-notch customer service. Travel up to 50% is required as you expand market presence across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, business management, marketing, engineering technology, or related field (preferred) or 3–5+ years in industrial capital equipment sales.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, including dosing chemicals and troubleshooting water quality issues; understanding of pH, alkalinity, hardness.
• Knowledge of Filtration & Membrane Technologies, including sand filtration, reverse osmosis, and membrane systems for removing impurities.
• Experience and understanding of SCADA Systems & Automation; proficiency in monitoring plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the commercial and industrial water treatment sales within your assigned territory; develop forecasts, budgets, and strategies to meet sales goals.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through appropriate contact.
• Coordinate and attend regional tradeshows, state and regional shows, and territory seminars.
• Overnight Travel = 50% within the territory to meet with prospects and existing customers, tradeshows and conduct customer training.
