Job description

Overview

ABI Document Support Services is seeking an experienced salesperson in the record retrieval, court reporting, or similar legal services industry to join the team as a Regional Sales Executive!

This will be remote with 50% travel required in the mid-west. The territory includes the following states: IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MO, MN, ND, NE, OH, SD and WI. It is a requirement to live in one of these states.

The Regional Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by helping to secure regional carrier agreements. Duties include providing application knowledge, product knowledge and industry knowledge to all new and existing business opportunities. This position is also responsible for assisting in the development of relationships with our strategic partners and affiliates, as well as supporting the implementation of carrier programs throughout the country.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect new national, regional, mid-level Carriers and TPA accounts which includes
    • Cold calling
    • Preliminary consultative presentations
    • Consistent team selling strategy and partnering with Vice President of National Sales and Director of National Sales on overall approach
    • Activities align with the vision and values of the overall organization, including partnering with Regional Account Managers to further support their efforts of successful carrier program implementations
  • Perform presentations to all decision makers and key influencers at local, regional and national levels for mid-level carrier and TPA accounts as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes, and ensures they are communicated and implemented within the team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry sales and/or management experience preferred
  • 3+ years sales experience highly preferred
  • Experience in record retrieval, court reporting, or similar legal services experience is required
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
  • Must be extremely effective in cold calling and moving a cold client to a close
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be highly effective at exceeding sales goals
  • Must be effective at presenting features and benefits to decision makers and end users
  • Must be highly self-motivated
  • Must demonstrate collaborative selling and strategizing with all members of ABI Sales and Account Management Team
  • Must demonstrate good knowledge of the law as it pertains to document retrieval
  • Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of the insurance and legal industry
  • Must be adaptable and receptive to direction from proven leaders
  • Strong ability to embrace a vision and make it a reality
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
