What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Meet or exceed sales goals by developing and expanding referrals for current accounts and new prospects within the assigned territory
- Build a pipeline for new logo and existing client opportunities to achieve sales goals
- Conduct quarterly stewardship meetings to ensure ongoing health of customer relationships
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape within the territory
- Support cross-selling opportunities by understanding other division product offerings and potential opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution
- Three to five years of customer service/account management or outside sales experience
- Strong working knowledge of the workers' compensation industry
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Three years of related experience in an insurance or healthcare environment
- Workers' compensation claims experience highly desirable
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
