Job description

The salary range for this full-time position is $70k+ commissions depending on skills and experience.

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE, BUT LIMITED TO APPLICANTS CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE PHILADELPHIA AREA. Travel to client sites in the region is required.

Previous printing, packaging, or graphic arts experience is necessary.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Regional Sales Executives are individual contributor field salespeople responsible for delivering new business bookings primarily from new customers within their territories. They will articulate the value of our short-run and quick-turnaround digital flexible packaging solutions, manage the sales process, and secure new customer deals. Each Sales Executive will utilize our lead generation team to support growth within one of our manufacturing plant locations. A territory covers about 120 miles and may include some national accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage existing and develop new customers, leveraging technology, products, and capabilities to capture a larger share within existing accounts.
  2. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales.
  3. Build relationships and identify customer needs for our products or services.
  4. Maintain current customer relationships through visits, calls, quarterly reviews, and events.
  5. Participate in community events to network with customers.
  6. Promptly enter all customer information and updates into Salesforce.
  7. Estimate quotes using our custom build estimation application.
  8. Collaborate with other divisions to maximize cross-selling opportunities and sales potential.
  9. Proactively seek and obtain new business opportunities with both new and existing customers, managing resources accordingly.
  10. Develop and manage a sales pipeline focused on increasing active customers and volume sales.
  11. Establish strong, multi-level relationships with customers.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in partnership and problem-solving sessions, including product line trials with customers.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in packaging, with large accounts.
  • Experience in new business development is required.
  • Results-oriented with strong sales skills focused on hunting for new business.
  • Business knowledge, analytical and financial skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Performance-driven with decision-making, negotiation skills, and confidence.
  • Ability to adapt to Google Suites environment.
