Job summary

Bekaert is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer (RSE) to grow our Sustainable Construction business across the Midwest and Northeast US. This remote position is based in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, or Illinois and emphasizes technical sales, specification development, and market expansion for construction and concrete.

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, US North, you will establish relationships with design offices, build project specifications, and promote Dramix steel fibers and Synmix macro

Qualifications

• PE licensure preferred; EIT pursuing PE certification a plus
• 3+ years in construction industry, structural design, or relevant technical positions
• Knowledge of ACI codes, industry standards, and industrial building methodologies
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with design offices, specifiers, consultants, and technical stakeholders to promote fiber-reinforced concrete solutions
• Create specifications for projects and build a robust project pipeline
• Promote Dramix steel fibers and Synmix macro fibers in technical specifications
• Support sales teams on targeted projects related to industrial flooring and ready-mix concrete
• Deliver technical presentations to audiences, face-to-face and virtual
• Provide technical assistance on drawings, specifications, and structural details
• Track competitor activity and new product developments
• Collaborate across the company on product development and market-specific solutions
