WE ARE WILLING TO CONSIDER A DEGREED ENGINEER WITH 1 OR 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH THE RIGHT SALES DEMEANOR AND PERSONALITY

Summary: As a Sales Engineer, you will drive business development and sales for Voith Turbo's hydraulic linear drives, systems, and pumps in the Midwestern U.S. You will work with OEMs, distributors, end-users, and integrators in industries such as machine tool manufacturing, injection molding, and press building. This role also involves providing technical support to inside sales.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage sales for new products, aftermarket services, and retrofits in the region
• Assist inside sales with technical inquiries and quotations
• Understand and address customer needs across heavy machine tool builders, press industries, mills, and high-pressure pump markets
• Provide occasional field service assistance for Voith pumps and systems
• Meet and exceed regional sales goals while coordinating with product managers
• Negotiate contracts and ensure customer satisfaction

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, P&ID, and automation systems.
• Familiarity with electrical drives, automation, and hydraulic systems (a plus).
• Experience with MS Office, SAP, Navision, and Salesforce.

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of sales and service experience in hydraulics, machine tools, and controls.
• Fluid power certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
