Swagelok Northern California is seeking a Sales Engineer to own customer relationships and territory performance in the Northwestern Nevada area. The role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to deliver fluid system solutions and drive growth.

The position offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions, frequent travel to customer sites, and leadership opportunities mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical sales, or related field or completion of a two-year degree or certification program.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
• Demonstrated track record of managing complex accounts and projects independently and mentoring less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate active listening and empathy in all customer interactions to support Swagelok Vision.
• Anticipate customer needs, market dynamics, and shifts to inform account strategy.
• Lead opportunity strategy using consultative selling and align solutions to customer ROI.
• Develop executive-level relationships and serve as a technical advisor across the customer organization.
