Job summary

Fortinet Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the regional sales team in pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales efforts. The role requires deep networking knowledge and strong presentation skills to articulate Fortinet’s security solutions on large enterprise accounts.

You will collaborate with Regional Account Managers, assist in technical qualification, and lead on-call technical discussions during customer engagements, ensuring successful outcomes and ongoing customer success.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in technical/pre-sales support in a sales or systems engineer role
• 3-5 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Proven understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, IDS, Anti Virus
• Experience with protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
• Exceptional presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales: qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint
• On sales calls: be the main technical resource and educate customers/partners
• Act as post-sales technical contact for identified accounts
• Coordinate with support and engineering to resolve issues
• Provide post-sales training to identified customers
