Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support regional Account Managers across the territory, handling pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales in a cybersecurity-focused environment.

You will be the main technical resource on sales calls, qualify technical leads, educate customers and partners on features and functionality, and collaborate with support and engineering to resolve issues. Emphasis on enterprise security and customer success.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales: qualify sales leads from a technical standpoint.
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate the customer on features and functionality.
• Post-sales: lead technical contact for identified accounts and work with support/engineer teams.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
• Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer or educate the customer and partner on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.

Pre-sales experience

LAN/WAN/Internet administration

DNS/NFS/SMTP/HTTP/TCP/IP

Networking: Routing, Switching, VPN

Security protocols: IPSEC, SSL, SSH

Encryption/authentication tech

Excellent presentation skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
