Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Regional Sales Director for Retirement Plan Sales to lead growth in an assigned territory. The RSD will develop new business, manage relationships with plan sponsors, and work with cross-functional teams to position retirement solutions.

This role requires 5+ years of B2B sales, knowledge of 401k/403b plans, and strong prospecting and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience in the financial services sector.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k/403b).
• Willingness to conduct outbound cold calls.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE.
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory and uncover new business opportunities.
• Meet with Plan Sponsors of 401k and 403b retirement plans via cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Cross-sell solutions and exceed goals by closing deals.
• Attend client review meetings to position the RSD for introductions and sales opportunities.
