groundcover in Boston is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead and scale our account-executive team as we redefine cloud-native observability. You’ll own regional strategy, coach AEs, and partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive revenue.

This is a high-growth, developer-focused SaaS environment requiring a data-driven leader who can forecast, close complex deals, and hire top talent while working three days onsite per week in Boston.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, with at least 2 years managing a team.
• Proven track record of driving revenue and hitting targets.
• Experience in B2D, SaaS, or developer-focused tech.
• Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Analytical and data-driven with CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Account Executives, including hiring and onboarding.
• Own regional sales strategy, track pipeline, forecast revenue, and meet targets.
• Engage customers and support AEs to close complex deals.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to amplify impact.
