Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, property management, or related field.
• Experience in student housing or multifamily property management preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong sales instincts to motivate others and drive results.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate leasing agents to meet goals.

Sales & Leasing Supervisor

Compensation: $45,000–$50,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

Uptown Rental Properties is looking for aSales & Leasing Supervisor to lead our student housing leasing team and help drive occupancy, leasing performance, and an exceptional resident experience.

In this role, you'll combine your passion for sales with your ability to develop people, improve processes, and turn leasing opportunities into results. You'll work closely with Property Management and Marketing to execute leasing strategies across our student housing portfolio.

What You'll Do

Lead & Develop a Winning Team

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Leasing Agents to achieve individual and team goals.

Provide hands-on sales training, ongoing feedback, and performance coaching.

Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development.

Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

Drive Leasing Performance

Develop and execute leasing strategies that increase occupancy, improve conversion rates, and support revenue goals.

Monitor leasing activity, lead follow-up, tours, applications, renewals, and overall sales performance.

Identify opportunities for improvement and create action plans to achieve leasing goals.

Stay informed on student housing trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.

Jump in to support leasing efforts during peak seasons, special events, and high-volume periods.

Partner with Property Managers and Marketing to align leasing strategies, advertising, pricing, and property priorities.

Analyze leasing reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Ensure prospective residents receive timely, professional, and engaging communication.

Coordinate leasing events, housing fairs, promotional campaigns, and open houses.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, property management, or a related field.

Experience in student housing or multifamily property management preferred.

Previous leadership, team coaching, or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong sales instincts with the ability to motivate others and drive measurable results.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable using performance metrics and reporting to guide decisions.

Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferred

Valid driver's license required.

Fair Housing training or willingness to complete training after hire.
