Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Region Trainer to drive a culture of safety excellence across multiple sites. You will equip new hires with knowledge to work safely from day one, ensure CMV drivers operate in compliance, and align teams with OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities include leading safety orientations, CMV driver training, compliance instruction, and maintaining training documentation for audits and continuous improvement. Travel between offices is required.

Qualifications

• Able to train others clearly and professionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external customers.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA requirements in waste hauling.
• Read and interpret safety regulations and vehicle operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire safety orientation and CMV driver training.
• Deliver OSHA/DOT/FMCSA compliance training for operations roles.
• Develop and manage HE and Certified PIT training programs with SMEs.
• Maintain training records and documentation for audits.
