Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Region Trainer to drive safety excellence across multiple sites. You will train new hires on CMV safety, driver pre-trip inspections, and regulatory compliance to keep teams productive and compliant.

The role requires 5+ years in safety training, DOT/OSHA knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to coach through field observations. Travel between offices and flexible hours are expected. Rumpke prioritizes safety, community, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety training and delivering instructional sessions.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations as they relate to logistics/safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire safety orientation sessions.
• Deliver CMV driver training including pre-trip inspections and safe operating practices.
• Conduct OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance training for operations roles.
• Develop and manage qualified HE and Certified PIT training programs.
