Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a qualified Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across its apartment communities, construction projects, and offices. The role focuses on reducing injuries, regulatory compliance, and risk management with a regional scope.

The candidate will conduct inspections, provide PPE training, and work with HR on injury reporting and corrective actions. Regional travel is required to support safety programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five years of safety management experience in construction or property management.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs.
  • Experience with inspections, audits, compliance reviews, and training.
  • Strong organizational, communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across regions.
  • Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, and incident reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workplace safety initiatives across Hillpointe's properties and projects.
  • Implement injury prevention programs and conduct safety inspections.
  • Provide safety training, PPE guidance, and hazard recognition training.
  • Assist HR with injury reporting, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Investigate injuries and incidents; conduct root-cause analyses.
  • Maintain safety documentation and track corrective actions to closure.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and update safety practices as regulations change.
  • Coordinate safety audits, site visits, and risk assessments.
