Job summary

Hillpointe seeks a Safety Manager to lead workplace safety initiatives across apartment communities, construction projects, facilities, and offices. This role focuses on reducing injuries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting fire and life safety programs across the region.

Responsibilities include analyzing injury data, conducting inspections, delivering PPE training, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Risk Management, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of safety management experience within construction, property management, multifamily housing, or related industries.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety programs, incident investigations, and risk management principles.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, compliance reviews, and training programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting operations across assigned regions.

Responsibilities

• Workers' Compensation & Injury Prevention: analyze injury trends and develop injury prevention programs.
• Investigate workplace injuries, general liability incidents, property damage claims, and operational safety concerns.
• OSHA Compliance & Safety Training: deliver OSHA-related training, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Fire Safety & Emergency Response: respond to fire-related incidents and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Safety Inspections & Risk Management: perform safety risk assessments and monitor contractor compliance.
