Job summary

HumanGood is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to support the Head of Risk & Safety in advancing safety, emergency preparedness, regulatory compliance, and loss-prevention programs across assigned communities. You will partner with community and regional leadership to assess risk, investigate significant incidents, strengthen emergency readiness, and promote consistent safety standards.

The role requires regular travel across the region and collaboration with clinical, facilities, and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety, health, risk management, or related field.
• Minimum five years in safety, risk management, or related field.
• Experience with safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and related safety requirements.
• Ability to travel frequently within the region.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety programs and standards across communities.
• Provide guidance on resident safety, emergency preparedness, and loss prevention.
• Travel to communities for safety assessments and on-site evaluations.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify and mitigate safety risks.
• Conduct hazard assessments, JHAs, and PPE evaluations.
• Investigate significant incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Monitor safety data to identify trends and prevention strategies.
• Support safety audits, regulatory readiness, and remediation plans.
• Assist with compliance of OSHA, CMS, and licensing requirements.
• Support emergency-preparedness programs and drills.
• Deliver safety education and trainings to leaders and staff.
• Review regional safety performance and communicate findings.
