Boise Cascade Company is seeking a Division Safety Manager to lead safety strategy and performance across our multi-region distribution operations. The role focuses on reducing injuries, strengthening safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will drive proactive hazard identification, accountability, and leadership development across branches, warehouses, and fleet operations. A strong track record in improving safety metrics is required.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent; 5+ years in progressively responsible safety roles in manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with government, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience leading safety programs and driving measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide safety strategy across Boise Cascade locations and operations.
• Develop and execute measurable safety improvement plans to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analysis for significant events and implement corrective actions.
• Establish accountability with executives, regional leaders, and frontline staff to embed safety in daily decisions.
• Build and maintain safety dashboards and scorecards using leading and lagging indicators.
• Ensure OSHA compliance, training, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
