Polk Mechanical Company is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to provide strategic safety leadership across multiple projects and locations within an assigned region. The RSM serves as a leader of leaders, developing Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Representatives through mentorship and coaching to advance Polk's safety strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety or related field strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of construction safety experience strongly preferred.
• 7-10 years of leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 required.
• CHST, CHSO, SHEP, or MA strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• Ability to travel across multiple sites within the region.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight for all safety personnel within the assigned region.
• Serve as the primary regional safety liaison to Operations leadership and the Safety Director.
• Ensure consistent application of safety programs, policies, and expectations across multiple sites.
• Lead and facilitate Event Learning Opportunities (ELOs) focused on learning and prevention.
• Analyze regional incidents, near-miss, and high-risk activity trends to identify systemic opportunities.
• Develop and mentor Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Representatives.
• Directly manage Safety Managers within the assigned region and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Develop regional safety strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead regional budget planning for safety resources and development.
• Standardize safety practices across all business units within the region.
