Polk Mechanical Company LLC is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to provide strategic safety leadership across multiple projects and locations within an assigned region. This role develops Safety Managers, Safety Coordinators, and Safety Representatives through Event Learning Opportunities (ELOs), coaching, and mentorship to advance Polk's long-term safety strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in occupational health & safety or related field.
• 10+ years of construction safety experience strongly preferred.
• 7-10 years of leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 completion required.
• CHST, CHSO, SHEP, or MA certifications strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
• Advanced understanding of construction safety systems and risk management.
• Ability to influence at all organizational levels and travel across sites.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight for all safety personnel within the assigned region.
• Serve as the primary regional safety liaison to Operations leadership and the Safety Director.
• Ensure consistent application of safety programs, policies, and expectations across multiple sites.
• Lead and facilitate Event Learning Opportunities (ELOs) focused on learning and prevention.
• Analyze regional incidents, near-miss, and high-risk activity trends to identify systemic opportunities.
• Develop and mentor Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Representatives.
• Directly manage Safety Managers within the region and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Develop regional safety strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead regional budget planning for safety resources and development.
• Standardize safety practices across all business units within the region.
