Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety programs on PV Power Plants and BESS projects. The role requires onsite inspections and oversight of construction safety, reporting to the Associate Director of Health and Safety, with travel up to 50%.

The position emphasizes developing site-specific safety plans, conducting audits, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• 3 years designing and implementing health and safety programs.
• 3 years creating site-specific safety plans, EHS inspections, work instructions and methods.
• 3 years identifying health and safety training needs, designing and delivering Training.
• Experience in Safety auditing and in-field safety management.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Health and Safety programs across PV and BESS projects.
• Ensure programs meet QCELLS USA standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain Site-Specific Safety Plans.
• Verify in-field activities at PV/BESS plant locations.
• Prepare Safety Site visit reports.
• Develop work instructions to ensure health and safety controls.
• Monitor incident reports and drive root cause analyses.
• Prepare weekly and monthly safety reports.
• Communicate safety updates and best practices to field teams.
• Collaborate with contractors, trades, and commissioning agents.
