Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Regional Director, Safety Administration to lead safety culture across the East Region. This role focuses on developing standardized safety training, regulatory compliance, and proactive incident analysis, with remote work and 50% travel within the East.

You will oversee audits, support training program creation, and collaborate with HR, Operations, and Marketing to maintain consistent safety messaging. A strong background in transit safety and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• 6+ years transit safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SOPs for site safety training and regulations.
• Act as liaison with government during audits or inspections.
• Lead regional safety staff and provide guidance.
• Analyze safety data and report metrics monthly.
