Job summary

TTX Company seeks a Manager, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) for the Midwest Region. Based in the Chicago area, this role is remote-friendly with extensive travel to railcar facilities and LDC to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the region.

The position leads EHS programs, conducts training and inspections, and guides incident investigations. Requires a Bachelor's in a related field and at least five years of EHS experience in a heavy manufacturing/rail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum five years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing/rail industry.
• Technical writing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS advisor for Midwest facilities and oversee regional EHS performance.
• Provide EHS support to 19 facilities, DRACO and one LDC.
• Travel ~75% to conduct inspections, audits, trainings, and compliance activities.
• Drive EHS programs, policies, and procedures; perform inspections and audits.
