Shirley Parsons is seeking a Regional Safety Consultant to service clients in the Northern NJ region, primarily in manufacturing industries. This role requires 80% regional travel to client sites, with the remaining 20% remote/home-based.

Qualifications

3+ years of EHS experience, preferably in manufacturing or consulting.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Independent and self-driven, able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel frequently to client sites, including overnight stays (primarily within driving distance).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement EHS&S programs and procedures and conduct comprehensive safety training for clients.
Cover LO/TO, Confined Space, Machine Guarding, and Ergonomics training as needed.
Assist with permitting, monitoring, and reporting to comply with local and federal agencies.
Conduct incident investigations and audits; recommend corrective/preventive measures.
Advise on risk management issues, including workers' compensation.
Travel to client sites, primarily within the Northern NJ region (80% travel).
