Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to support a regional network of facilities. The role offers remote capability and a chance to influence strategy across sites, partnering with operations leadership to drive safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of EHS leadership in food manufacturing or regulated environments, deep OSHA/environmental knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to build a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (EHS, safety, engineering, environmental science).
10+ years EHS experience in food manufacturing or similarly regulated setting.
Multi-site leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations; safety management systems.
Experience with wastewater and ammonia refrigeration/PSM is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance and regulatory adherence.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Food Safety to strengthen safety culture and reduce risk.
Oversee environmental programs including wastewater, waste management, air permitting and sustainability.
Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions and site EHS improvement plans.
Support Process Safety Management initiatives, capital projects, expansions, and development of EHS personnel and site leadership teams.
