Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety and compliance programs across a defined geographic area, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA guidelines. You will train teams, promote safe working conditions, and lead audits and incident investigations to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong Microsoft office skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction industry and building materials.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with local managers and employees.
• Identify physical, behavioral, and cultural exposures that could lead to loss.
• Promote safe and healthy working conditions.
• Develop a culture to support company safety objectives.
• Coordinate investigation of major accidents and losses and address root causes.
• Inspect yards for safety equipment and training materials.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and training sessions.
• Observe vehicle and driver safety and document conditions.
