Job summary

GES in Orlando is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to oversee safety across offices, warehouses, and show-site operations, partnering with operations and leadership to identify risk and strengthen compliance.

The role leads safety programs, incident investigations, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a proactive safety culture in fast-paced trade shows and events with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred in a safety-related field.
• 3–5 years safety-related experience, preferably in live events, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of OSHA; DOT/EPA/claims management knowledge preferred.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of safety policies and regulations for assigned operations.
• Partner with leaders to establish and maintain safety procedures and compliance.
• Conduct facility and event inspections to identify hazards and recommend actions.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Develop, deliver, and support safety training and prevention programs.
• Promote safe work practices and coordinate safety committees and campaigns.
• Support emergency plans and risk reduction initiatives.
