Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Safety Specialist to coordinate safety, health, and environmental programs at the regional level, ensuring incident-free operations and strong safety leadership within the region.

You will work with corporate safety teams, conduct audits, train staff, and monitor KPIs to continuously improve safety performance and client safety expectations across Terracon offices and project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field or 4 years’ experience in Terracon’s core services.
• Basic knowledge of accident prevention and OSHA construction safety regulations.
• DOT (FMCSA) Commercial Driver requirements knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, health, and environmental programs at regional level to align with Terracon’s IIF culture and values.
• Audit monthly radiation safety inspections with RSOs; assist with license amendments and mentor local staff.
