Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior EHS Manager - Regional Service Line to lead environmental, health, and safety efforts in the Gulf Coast Division. This role will sit in any Gulf Coast office with flexibility across GA, AL, MS, LA, and TN.

You will mentor staff, develop growth plans, manage projects, and build client relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality deliverables on regional and national initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in a full-time consulting role.
• Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work with a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess EHS staff capabilities across the Division.
• Develop EHS Growth Plans with Operational Leadership.
• Work with Client Development and technical staff on implementing Growth Plans.
• Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
• Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Work with Operations to understand local EHS growth opportunities.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients.
• Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests.
• Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies.
• Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines.
• Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
