Job summary

Ivory Wellness Center seeks a Regional RN Director to oversee Skilled Nursing facilities across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. You will drive patient care quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in a multi-site portfolio.

Lead nursing operations, mentor nurse leaders, manage budgets, and champion HIPAA/licensing standards. This in-person leadership role offers strategic impact and staff development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN license with multi-state licensure or ability to obtain in designated regions.
  • Extensive nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing facilities or similar healthcare settings.
  • Proven supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
  • Strong background in patient care processes including medical terminology, medical records management (MDS), and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead nursing operations across multiple facilities in a multi-state region, ensuring quality of care and operational excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies aligned with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and state licensing standards.
  • Oversee staffing models, supervise nurse management, and promote staff development to maintain engagement and retention.
  • Drive quality improvement using clinical data and EMR/EHR systems to improve outcomes and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, safety protocols, and accreditation standards through audits and training.
  • Collaborate with medical directors, case managers, and administrative staff to coordinate care plans.
  • Manage budgets and utilization strategies to maximize productivity across all facilities.
  • Foster cross-site communication, share best practices, and build a cohesive regional culture.

Join our dynamic healthcare organization as a Regional RN Director overseeing Skilled Nursing facilities across multiple states including NJ & PA. In this vital leadership role, you will drive excellence in patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within a diverse portfolio of skilled nursing, assisted living, hospice, and senior care communities. Your expertise will help shape a high-performing team dedicated to delivering compassionate, top-quality care while ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and organizational goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence healthcare delivery on a broad scale, fostering innovation and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Duties
  • Lead and manage nursing operations across all facilities within your designated multi-state region, ensuring consistency in quality of care and operational excellence.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies aligned with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and state-specific licensing standards.

  • Oversee staffing models, supervise nurse management teams, and promote professional development to maintain high levels of staff engagement and retention.

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, utilizing EMR/EHR systems effectively, and leading efforts to enhance patient outcomes and safety standards.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, safety protocols, and accreditation standards through regular audits and staff training programs.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including medical directors, case managers, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care plans that meet individual needs.

  • Manage budgets, oversee utilization management strategies, and optimize productivity software tools to maximize operational efficiency across all facilities.

  • Facilitate communication between facilities to share best practices, troubleshoot issues promptly, and foster a unified regional culture focused on excellence in senior care.

Requirements
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current licensure in multiple states or the ability to obtain licensure in designated regions.

  • Extensive nursing leadership experience within skilled nursing facilities or similar healthcare settings such as hospitals or hospice agencies.

  • Proven supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex environments like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units.

  • Strong background in patient care processes including medical terminology, medical records management (MDS), and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.

  • Demonstrated success in quality improvement leadership, operations management, budgeting, utilization management, and case management strategies.

  • Technical proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and productivity software essential for effective healthcare administration.

  • Excellent communication skills paired with a proactive approach to staff management and stakeholder engagement.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to assisted living, hospice care, home health agencies, ICU protocols, emergency medicine procedures including Level II Trauma Center experience or PICU experience is highly desirable.
