Best Care Services invites an accomplished Regional RN Director to oversee Skilled Nursing facilities across multiple states, including New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The role focuses on patient care quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency within a diverse portfolio of senior care communities.

You will lead nursing operations, supervise multidisciplinary teams, and drive process improvements using EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• RN license with current licensure in NJ/PA or eligibility to obtain in designated regions.
• Extensive nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, or hospice settings.
• Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in complex healthcare environments.
• Strong understanding of patient care processes, medical terminology, and MDS.
• Demonstrated success in quality improvement, operations, budgeting, and utilization management.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and related software.

Duties

• Lead and manage nursing operations across all facilities within your designated multi-state region, ensuring consistency in quality of care and operational excellence.

• Develop, implement, and monitor policies aligned with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and state-specific licensing standards.

• Oversee staffing models, supervise nurse management teams, and promote professional development to maintain high levels of staff engagement and retention.

• Drive quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data, utilizing EMR/EHR systems effectively, and leading efforts to enhance patient outcomes and safety standards.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, safety protocols, and accreditation standards through regular audits and staff training programs.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including medical directors, case managers, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care plans that meet individual needs.

• Manage budgets, oversee utilization management strategies, and optimize productivity software tools to maximize operational efficiency across all facilities.

• Facilitate communication between facilities to share best practices, troubleshoot issues promptly, and foster a unified regional culture focused on excellence in senior care.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current licensure in multiple states or the ability to obtain licensure in designated regions.

• Extensive nursing leadership experience within skilled nursing facilities or similar healthcare settings such as hospitals or hospice agencies.

• Proven supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in complex environments like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units.

• Strong background in patient care processes including medical terminology, medical records management (MDS), and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.

• Demonstrated success in quality improvement leadership, operations management, budgeting, utilization management, and case management strategies.

• Technical proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and productivity software essential for effective healthcare administration.

• Excellent communication skills paired with a proactive approach to staff management and stakeholder engagement.

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to assisted living, hospice care, home health agencies, ICU protocols, emergency medicine procedures including Level II Trauma Center experience or PICU experience is highly desirable.
