Job summary

M&T Bank in Worcester, MA is seeking a Regional Retail Bank Manager to lead a multi-branch team of 15–18 branches and 100–150 branch sales staff. You will drive operations, financial results, and strategic direction for the region, while coaching Branch Managers to grow sales and develop their teams.

You will partner with bank-wide teams, support business partners, participate in community initiatives, and ensure compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years sales experience or 11 years combined education/work experience with 7+ years sales experience.
Minimum 4 years of proven sales management experience.
Strong knowledge of financial services products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and well-organized with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a geographic region of the retail branch network including operations and financial results.
Develop and coach Branch Managers and branch staff.
Set strategic direction for Retail Bank and growth in customer sales across Bank products.
Collaborate with regional and area sales managers and business partners to achieve sales goals.
Represent the Bank in community and internal committees and ensure compliance with policies.
